"Bobcat"

I recently visited the Tucson Desert Museum Zoo and found this lovely female Bobcat. I have a hard time with Zoos in general, as these are wild creatures and should be in their own habitat, but I took the opportunity to photograph her and admire her beauty while there.
I have been pulled toward painting wildlife, and hope to do more. Painting fur has it's own special challenge and I have been studying anatomy of large cats. I still like to do portraits best though.
