I couldn't figure out what was missing about this one. I got the cup right and the apple looks right. Then I realized the composition was too static for me. Maybe a third element would have helped too, or a different color. I am interested in the dots and the value changes in the shadows. I will try another.
I don't know anything about how you post your photos, but I like that I can click on the picture and see a larger version. Too many people keep the photos small--I like to enjoy the brush strokes.
